Originally from Kenosha Wisconsin, Mr. Hanrath has been a resident of Phoenix Arizona since 1987. After a 4-year active-duty tour in the US Marine Corps, Mr. Hanrath moved to Phoenix to attend Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate. Over the last 32 years, working for EDM, Inc., and Consolidated Management Services, Mr. Hanrath has been engaged in commercial real estate syndication, management and construction, specializing in multi-family and office / retail. In that time Mr. Hanrath has overseen the development or redevelopment of over 200 projects, with a cumulative value more than $500,000,000.

Mike Calkins brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry following his entry into Commercial Real Estate when he co-founded Equity Development & Management (EDM) in 1995. The accelerated growth of construction activity led to the creation of Consolidated Management Services, a full service general contractor. Since that time Mike has participated in over 200 projects ranging from development, syndication, construction, redevelopment, facilities maintenance and management. Mike’s considerable experience and leadership has helped drive the company’s diverse expansion, growth of annual sales to over $14,000,000 and a fulltime staff in excess of 60 employees.
Mike is a 4th generation Arizona Native and graduated from Arizona State University in 1993. In his personal time he enjoys hiking, skiing, playing tennis, spending time with his family and traveling.

Will Miller
Executive Director of Construction Operations
Since becoming the Executive Director of Construction Operations Will Miller has led the company’s transformation into larger and more diverse commercial projects. This includes the expansion into multimillion-dollar fuel stations, retail, commercial and multi-family projects.
As a 3rd generation builder starting at the age of 13, Will began working for the family business doing concrete work and framing. He has had the privilege of being a part of the construction industry for over 39 years. Following high school Will joined the United States Air Force where he was assigned to a civil engineering squadron, working on bridges, runways, installing underground fuel systems, septic systems and anything else that needed to be dug out or put into the ground. At the age of 26, Will started his first construction company doing commercial work and venturing into his first fuel station. After running a successful construction company for over 23 years, Will made the decision to merge his company with CMS in order to grow his vision.
Will brings extensive construction knowledge with strong business leadership and management experience. He has a great understanding of the value in building strong relationships with trade partners and customers alike. His customer base spans back over 20 plus years and is a testament of his loyalty to his customers and the construction industry as a whole.
His understanding of a strong foundation in business has led to the growth of new relationships, larger projects and an overall amazing team to handle it all. We are excited about the direction the company is headed under the company’s current leadership.
